Venus square Uranus.

The beautiful hermit Moon rises, ordering our dreams, and gentling our tender lunacies. We near the close of another astrological year.

And Venus is forming a tight square with Uranus in her home-sign of Taurus.

Prepare for the restless unleashing of Venusian eccentricities and strange party favours.

You may be feeling Venusian things are a little dampened of late. Since her epic journey through the mountains of Capricorn, and her brush with Pluto, Venus has remained under pressure in Aquarius. Albeit of a different kind.

Whilst Pluto’s squeeze on Venus transformed the coal of our values and relationships into more enduring treasure, Venus skipped into Aquarius and straight into a gilded cage. Bounded on either side by Warrior Mars and Time Lord Saturn, Venus is sandwiched in Aquarius by the tough guys. Fixed agendas have sat heavily upon Venus, and she lacks her usual sweet, creative flourish.

In Aquarius, Venus is a bo(u)y - unique and brilliant. A wild space orchestra who haunts the full spectrum of experience.

But this month, Venus is yet to be unboxed. This continues until the end of March when she leapfrogs over Saturn and the way ahead is clearer.

Momentarily though, Mad Uncle Prometheus in Taurus is hanging by the gaol with a key hiding in a cake, and he’s offering Venus a brief joyride out of there.

There could be disruptions, or strange, sudden events and indiscretions. Tense relations, abrupt affairs. We may find ourselves yearning for an escape from the muggle world, diving headlong into experimental trysts, mixing new life cocktails we’ve never tried before, taking up eccentric hobbies; or shopping for items we wouldn’t usually consider.
