Full Moon in Libra - Gateway to Eclipse Season.
FULL MOON @ 16°7’ LIBRA ︎, 6th APRIL, 2:34PM (AEST).
On the surface, a lunation in Libra, hosted by Venus in Taurus, is a Moon full of sweetness & light.
Yet this Full Moon is a good deal more complicated, strung tensely with impulse & idealism across the Cardinal Yang axis of Aries-Libra.
La Lune attempts to achieve harmony & homeostasis but both ruler Venus, & exaltation ruler Saturn are in aversion. She attempts to draw upon stabilising resources. Ruler Venus is frolicking in Her Taurean Garden Of Earthly Delights - also the exaltation of the Moon. This Moon’s ethos is one of calm & compromise, craving Art, Beauty, emotional balance & connection.
However, there are a few grenades going off in the flowerbeds & fine art galleries of Venus. Opposite Lady Moon lies an exalted Warrior Sun conjoined by Chiron our Wounded Healer, & hosted by a Fallen Mars in Cancer, in a Whole-sign square to our luminaries.
The Sun is burning the lightning scar of our deepest, oldest hurts; made huge, demanding & defiantly Romantic by a combust & withering Jupiter. Jupiter is lending support to Mistress Moon behind-the-scenes.
Our dying Zeus moves close to the end of his cycle. His magnanimous, unifying qualities currently obscured from sight. Antagonism & urgency reach boiling point. It all feels a bit operatic. There may be a sense of all-or-nothing as we feel the tension of opposite values & needs. Sudden severings, disagreements & divisions may arise, unexpected heartaches as Self & individuation clashes with the needs & niceties, as well as the quiet, tender compromises required when in relationship with others.
